Culture Perth & Kinross -

Celebrate National Poetry Day 2026 and this year’s theme, Wonder, by submitting your poetry to Strathearn Community Library.

Whether you’re an experienced poet or just starting out, the library would love to receive your work for their Community Poetry Exhibition, which will take place from 29 September to 30 October 2026.

From 18 August, Strathearn Community Library will be welcoming poetry submissions. Along with your poem, please include a short blurb about yourself and a few words about the impact that writing poetry has had on your life. Selected works will be showcased in our Community Poetry Exhibition, providing an opportunity to share your creativity with the wider community. The submission deadline is 19 September.

Contributors may also be invited to perform their work at our special poetry evening on 1 October alongside accomplished local poet Patricia Ace, to mark National Poetry Day 2026.

We look forward to reading your submissions and celebrating the wonder of poetry together.
