Printing

Print directly to our library printers

We have installed Princh, a new printing solution in our libraries. With Princh it is now possible to print from any mobile device, tablet, or laptop from home, or in one of our participating libraries. Just print, pay online and pick up your items. You can send your print jobs at any time from any place and what’s more, you no longer have to wait in line at the printer.

Princh Libraries

You can currently print to any of the libraries listed below. When printing from home you will need to take a note of the printer ID as you will be asked to enter this ID during the printing process. If a separate Colour and B&W printer isn’t shown for a location, it means that the printer has both options available:

Before you print

If you decide to print from home, you will only have 24 hours to collect your items. Not all of our libraries are open every day, so please check your library opening hours before printing from home. If you prefer, you can wait until you are in the library before you send your print from your mobile device. Posters are available in participating libraries with QR codes (and printer IDs) that can be scanned with a mobile device to use Princh quickly and easily. Please note that some free QR code reader apps may include external adverts, which are not related to Princh. If in doubt, you can use the print.princh.com webpage to print from your device.

Ready to print?

If using a phone or tablet, you can download the free Princh app from the App Store or Google Play. You can also print from your own device by visiting the print.princh.com webpage (easier if printing more than one file/document).

Printing from your mobile phone or tablet

Once you have installed the free Princh app onto your device, you can send your items to print in three easy steps:

  1. Open the document and share it with the Princh app.
  2. Enter library printer-ID and choose your print settings.
  3. Pay from your mobile or tablet using your preferred payment method. We accept Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Maestro or PayPal (you can also choose to pay in cash at the desk).

When sending your print job, you will receive a 4-digit password. Take a note of this as you will need this password when you pick up your prints.

Printing from your own laptop/device in a web browser

You can also print from your laptop/device by visiting the Princh webpage.

  1. Visit the print.princh.com webpage and enter the library printer-ID.

Collecting your printouts

When you arrive at your chosen library (see library opening hours), you will be asked to enter your 4-digit password on the tablet. This password will keep your printouts secure and they can only be released to the printer by you.
