Bring your children along to the library for a unique and eye-opening experience! Discover what it is like to navigate the world without the sense of sight in this fun, hands-on session.
Children will be blindfolded and encouraged to take part in a variety of activities designed to explore their other senses. From completing jigsaws and colouring with scented crayons to exploring braille books and learning how to print their name in braille, this session offers a fascinating glimpse into a unique way of experiencing the world.
The event will also include a delightful story about a blind mole, helping to bring the experience to life in a meaningful and engaging way.
And as a special treat, children will get the chance to meet two incredible Ambassador Dogs – and of course, give them a well-deserved cuddle!
This will be a fun, educational, and memorable experience for all. The event is for primary age children and they must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
