Chess Club

Culture Perth & Kinross -

If your child would like to learn transferrable life skills, then why not introduce them to chess?  Chess helps to deepen focus, it helps to develop problem-solving skills and exercise the brain and the chess club offers another social opportunity for your child.

The Strathearn Chess Club held at Strathearn Community Library is led by enthusiastic High School pupils. This informal club is as much about the chat as it is about the skill.

The free club runs every Wednesday, beginning 17th January 2024 (term time only) from 3.45pm – 4.45pm.

Suitable for children 8 – 12 years.  Spaces are limited, so if interested, please sign by contacting the Library on 01764 657705 or via email [email protected]
