Join the Highland Perthshire Creative Writing Group! We’ll be reading stories and poems aloud with local author Linda Cracknell and using them to spark our own writing. No need to book; just drop in!

This partnership event offers drop-in creative writing sessions for adults with local author Linda Cracknell.

Dates and times: Thursdays from 5.30 pm to 7.30 pm on 28th March // 25th April // 30th May // 27th June

Please note that this event is suitable for 16 years and over, and you can attend all sessions or just one or two. 

Who are Open Book?

Open Book organises and runs over 1,200 shared reading and creative writing sessions each year for a diverse range of community and public participants across Scotland. During their relaxed and informal shared reading sessions, part of a book and poem are read aloud, with an Open Book Lead Reader on hand to help guide the discussion. They also run regular creative writing sessions, using the material the group is reading as inspiration to create new writing.
