From Taonga Puoro to Piob Mhor: Bringing cultures together

Scotland and New Zealand might be on opposite sides of the world, but they are not as distant as you may think.  With Scots being some of the first European settlers in New Zealand, migration has steadily continued ever since, maintaining strong cultural links between the two countries. 

In this special talk, we’ll celebrate our distinct and shared heritage, alongside some traditional musical performances from Māori and Scottish musicians.
