Winners announced in William Soutar Writing Prize for Children and Young People 2016

Culture Perth and Kinross are delighted to announce the winners of the William Soutar Writing Prize for Children and Young People 2016. Now in its fifth year, the competition follows in the footsteps of the well-established and highly regarded annual Soutar Prize for adults. The competition alternates between poetry and short stories with the short story as the theme for 2016. The winners were announced at an Award Ceremony, to which all shortlisted writers were invited, at the AK Bell Library on Saturday 25th February. Competition judge Lari Don presented the prizes.
