Auld Hat New Heids

21st November 2017 AK Bell Library

Four of Scotland’s top folk singers and musicians re-create the fabulous fun days of the 60’s and 70’s on the Scottish Folk Scene.

“Scottish songs that we all know but are now seldom heard will have you singing your heart out.”

Following last years successful concert, Auld Hats are including The Soutar Theatre in their 2017 itinerary. Earlier this year they had a ‘sell out’ concert at the prestigious CELTIC CONNECTIONS FESTIVAL and two similar ‘sellouts’ on the Edinburgh Fringe. The show is intended to recreate a typical night at a Scottish Folk club in the 1960s/70s and will bring back many memories for the people who were there at the time plus help the younger generation see just what they missed.

Packed with humour and great artiste/audience sing a long songs which were popular at the time , it is a show not to be missed.
