Perth is easily accessible via all forms of transport. It sits astride the M90, A9, and A85 and due to our central location 90% of Scotland’s population can reach our city in 90 minutes or less. Perth & Kinross Council operates three Park and Ride schemes in Perth and Kinross.
There are regular trains from Scotland’s major cities. Perth railway station is located 5 minutes’ walk from the AK Bell Library and 0.7 miles (1.2km) from Perth Museum and Art Gallery. There is also a taxi rank located outside the station.
Perth bus station is located 4 minutes’ walk from the AK Bell Library and 0.6 miles (1 km) from Perth Museum and Art Gallery.
The AK Bell Library have 2 on site car parks, including several disabled bays, as well as on-street parking, where charges apply from 8am – 6pm Monday to Saturday.
A short level walk from Perth Museum and Art Gallery is the Kinnoull Street Multi-storey car park, which is open from early morning until late at night. There is also a number of on street parking bays, where charges will also apply.
